Web Design
The LOT Project is the first non-profit organization that I've had the pleasure of working with. They are dedicated to mentoring young, underprivileged teens as well as providing shelter for the homeless in the Upstate. I designed the website on a grayscale as a way of focusing the viewer’s attention on the featured pictures and most importantly, ways in which they can connect with The LOT Project.

Poster Design
The Now Foundation wanted designers to create a poster that defined to them what true beauty is for their Love Your Body campaign. Beauty magazines are constantly photshopping the pictures of women they photograph to create a woman that couldn't possibly exist except in the dream world. I took different aspects of a woman's face that would normally be beautiful if they weren't pieced together to create what I feel is society's image of true beauty. It's fake and as I stated on my poster, real beauty is not fake.

The poster design for the Lander University Wind Ensemble. What I wanted to do here was give this event a very classy, but modern feel to it. I decided to blur the image of the tuba to play a game of sorts with the viewer by having them guess what instrument it is.

For the 2008 Art of Politics poster competition, I chose to address poverty as my political issue. Poverty is something I feel very strongly toward because far too often people dehumanize its victims to make themselves more comfortable. People try to convince themselves that it's the person's fault they are living on the streets, so in an effort to change that I wanted to tell the story behind the face of poverty. Poverty has many stories, and many faces and all of them involve a human being. I wanted to remind people of that with my poster.

Logo Design
The BUNS restaurant was looking for a hip, trendy logo design for their restaurant. Since the restaurant is based in Seattle, I went for a more urban, simplistic feel to the logo that works not only in black, but various colors as well. Since I believe in creating impactful designs, the logo works not only in different colors but with no font whatsoever.

This is the logo I did for Lander University's Department of Political and Social Sciences (PaSS). The department wanted the world to be incorporated into the logo in some fashion and I chose to use Lady Justice as well, holding the scales of justice with PaSS being upheld by her hand.

DOXA Ministries is an organization that was created to travel to different youth ministries in order to use video production and engaging sermons to jumpstart the youth of a church. With all logos, I believe simplicity is key and this is yet another example of how I enjoy encorporating minimalism into my designs.

After the 8.9 magnitude earthquake hit Japan, I decided to use a creative outlet in hopes of stirring more people to donate to the Red Cross to aid in the relief efforts overseas.

Package Design
Simplicity is something I love in design and the objective of this project was to create a package design for Grill Care that is simple and easy to reproduce. I chose the light purple of burnt charcoal and the rich, vibrant orange of flames as my color template to help the design stand out as much as possible.

I had the pleasure of working with a local, acoustic musician named Austin Baker on the cover of his album, "The Perfect Love Song." Since I know Austin personally, I know that he's a typical, down home kind of musician and I felt that adding a wood texture to the album cover would give it a more homely feel.

Typography
This is a typographic moped. I used the typeface American Typewriter for the entire piece as featured on the front wheel. I really enjoyed this design because it was a challenge and required me to step out of my comfort zone.

Publications
The below work are header pages that I re-designed for Anderson Publications' SearchMe Book which is a 103-page residential contractors and services directory.
